Affordable is owned by the Egan family and has been custom fitting, hiring and selling motor homes and campervans to tourists and kiwis since 1996.
Although a relatively small operation, compared to some of the big brand names in the business, Affordable has an enviable reputation that many of their competitors would struggle to match.
Before working with hairyLemon, the Egans had avoided venturing into the realms of social media, focusing on their traditional channels of web, email, Rankers and phone to communicate with their customers.
The high level of personal service they provide means this small team is kept very busy looking after their customers - with very little time for managing and monitoring social media channels.
hairyLemon put together a social media and content plan to focus on the quieter winter months, including creating a presence on Facebook and Instagram, adding blog content to the site each month and running paid campaigns to increase awareness of the business and send traffic to the new website.
